Titus 2 Discipleship

Our Titus 2 Discipleship ministry consists of one-on-one or small group Bible studies and fellowship.  Our emphasis within this is that the older men and women (more mature in Christ) would pour into the younger, and show them how to walk in grace, as Titus chapter 2 so clearly lays out as a church's God-given responsibility.

This consists of meeting with those of whom you are walking with at regular Sunday and Wednesday services, as well as our men’s/women's study once a month.   This would also include meeting once a month at least in order to discuss what you are learning in the "Reading Through the Bible" plan, sermon questions and application, praying for one another, and having a time of fellowship.

What does this look like practically?

Mentor’s responsibility: Be willing to walk with someone you have met, or someone we may prayerfully direct your way.  Pray for, encourage, hold accountable, exemplify how to be a Godly person according to Titus 2 etc., serve alongside your mentee while upholding, and encouraging them.

Mentee’s responsibility: Be willing to be discipled by a person older in the faith than yourself, who can encourage you in the Lord, challenge you, correct you, and pray for you regularly.
